At this year’s 8th Silesian Science Festival, we had the honor of presenting our activities as Ninanki. At our booth, visitors had the opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge but also to actively participate in exercises that combined movement with music.
We prepared interactive workshops to demonstrate how the dynamic combination of movement and sound can influence the development of motor skills, creativity, and body awareness. Participants—both children, teenagers, and adults—had the chance to try their hand at various activities that brought lots of smiles and positive energy.
Our activities were led by exceptional individuals who brought immense knowledge and passion to the event. Mgr Julia Walatek—a physiotherapist and co-creator of the Ninanki program—ensured the substantive quality and professional delivery of the workshops. Support was provided by physiotherapy students Zuzanna Kielma and Maja Śliwa, who enthusiastically engaged participants in exercises and shared their energy. The entire effort was coordinated by Mgr Martyna Borowska, the program coordinator, who ensured the booth ran like a well-oiled machine.
We were also visited by the well-known artist, Kuba Badach. Not only did he observe our activities with interest, but he also participated in the musical part of the workshops. To our immense delight, he sang and played the chorus of our “anthem”—”Ninanki GO!”—on handbells, which was an incredibly inspiring moment for both us and the participants.
The Silesian Science Festival is a special event for us, where we not only share our knowledge but also draw inspiration from the enthusiasm of the participants. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth—your curiosity and engagement are the best motivation for us to continue our work!
See you at future events!
